Our F1 Puppy Praises
Enjoy with us what some of our families have said about their furry F1 family additions!!
***** Rocket *****
Martha,
Any time you want to give our names as references we would be very happy to tell people what a great family you have and how well these dogs are cared for. Although I have never met you , Kenny has. When he came home with our doodle he told me how he was impressed with your good home and how nice you and your husband were. If Kenny would let me, I would be up there in a second to buy another puppy from you (we chose mr. bouncy, remember?). Kenny said it would be hard to take TWO doodles to our boat in the summer. I say Rocket needs a friend. Martha, you are the kind of person that people hope they can find to buy a dog from. We are glad to know you, and we are so delighted with our labradoodle. Martha, thank you for such a wonderful (and very funny) dog. Rocket has brought much joy into our home. If we had a wag-o-meter for Rocket it would be in the stratosphere. ALL THE TIME!
Kindest regards,
- Sharman
I have enclosed photos approx each month as she grew. She is now 45 lbs roughly. She sheds terribly which is something we did not expect. Her hair is curly on top only. She is very very bright and easy to train. She attended puppy kindergarten. One issue we are still working on is the jumping. She is very lovey and affectionate and jumps when you come home or will jump on you when you sit down. In fact, every evening when I sit down, she has to sit with me and snuggle. She is not crated, but the crate is open. Her favorite activity is to play soccer. She’ll guard and defend her ball! She has a full size soccer ball that she can carry around. She loves the water. Her first time in the pool was amazing. We have to watch though, as her ears bother her often. I routinely have to clean them and put ointment in. She is a great dog. Leeann actually is doing well [with her allergies]. Aries is not allowed upstairs and we have very little carpet. We do try and brush and bathe her often which they say helps. Probably it would not be so bad but she just has to sit on you! Bill said he never had a dog that is so cuddly!

Just wanted to write to say how much we love Tinkerbelle. She is amazing with my 8 year old. So many people have complimented on how beautiful she is and how great she is with children. Her personality is absolutely AMAZING. She plays with the kids so well. All of the neighborhood kids look forward to seeing her in the morning and the mom’s just are astonished at how well she behaves. It’s truly wonderful. We love how she is playful but so calm at the same time.
She sheds a bit. It’s not a huge amount, but it is significant. It’s about an inch long with a bit of a curl. She has a lot of facial hair (so cute) and her eyelashes are a full inch or so long. I’ve never seen a dog with such long eyelashes. It’s adorable. She doesn’t require a lot of grooming, but my husband does it everyday anyway. It’s his after-dinner activity.

It’s so nice to hear from you! We have been loving Max and Sam (the kids renamed Blu, but we keep a blue collar on him to remind us of his origins!)!! They have such wonderful temperaments – our friends are amazed they’re only 8 months old! They are very friendly, but not overbearing or hyper like most puppies. So for us they have been pretty easy to train. We had very little difficulty crate training them – in fact they seemed to be trained by the time we got them! They never had an accident in the crate, and went all night from the day we got them without making a peep! I think having the 2 of them together made their adjustment much easier. Initially we kept them together in a crate when we had to leave them and for the nights, but now they’ve grown too big to share, and we can’t bear to put them in separate crates. They stay in the kitchen when we’re not home, and now that they’re house broken they’ve been sleeping with the kids. Max’s fur does seem a bit curly. He grows a lot of fur on the top and around his neck – that must be the poodle part of him! The fur around Sam’s face is terrier-like, but Sam’s fur seems longer or fluffier. It’s been so fun to watch Max and Sam play together. They enjoy each other and are inseparable.

Buddy’s favorite thing to do, other than eat tissue, paper napkins, etc. (we’ve taken to covered waste baskets and high toilet paper holders), is to hike the mountain trails with his best buddy a 2 yr old boxer, running at top speed, climbing to high points and trotting into the streams, of course leaving behind the guys keeping up the rear.
Buddy is all about fun, loves toys and especially treats. He is quite smart, learns very quickly and trains well, his backyard is protected by an invisible fence which he trained to in just a few sessions. Now he can run full out without my worrying about him. He has an absolutely wonderful personality and everyone falls in love with him on sight. He has a great face, with wispy eyebrows that give him a wise old look. His hair is light apricot with a few light patches, especially his white shoulders. Buddy got his first haircut last month and looks quite distinguished with his soft, lab like coat, still wispy eyebrows and “fringy” boots. So cute!

The puppies have been adorable. They love the snow and keep going to the door to go out to play – we have.a big fenced in yard, so they are having a blast. The boys are doing just fine. Boomer is getting used to the puppies and they to him.

I thought I’d send a few pictures of my precious Benson all grown up in the event that you were looking for more handsome fellows to post. He’s truly the best dog we’ve ever had. Aside from being a marvelous companion, he’s obedient and loyal. He sits, shakes, gives high 5’s, lays down and rolls over. We (and everyone he meets) simply adore him!!
Thank you for such a great dog!!

I wanted to send you a couple of pictures of Tracker. He will be 8 months old on the 18th and he weighs about 55 pounds. We, as well as all of our neighbors, are convinced that he is the best dog in the world. We can let him stay out in the yard unattended and he won’t run off, he seldom barks, he loves people and other dogs, and he doesn’t shed real bad. He did shed some in the Spring, but not much at all now. Our five year old son Ethan and Tracker get along so well together. One of the reasons we decided to get a dog was that Ethan was deathly afraid of them and we hoped that getting him a puppy would help to ease his fears around dogs and other animals. It worked wonders. He now loves dogs and he even rode a horse for the first time the other day. I honestly believe that if it had not been for Tracker, Ethan would have been way too scared to get near a horse. One of our neighbors has a year and half old female Labrodoodle that he loves to play with, and they have had sleep overs together both at our house and at hers. Amber loves him so much, she is contemplating getting another one to keep him company when we are away. Let us know when you are having another litter, as we may be interested in a female puppy.
Thanks for such a wonderful addition you added to our family.
